Hot new trend alert: white dresses

You know you're onto a new trend when not one, but two stars are snapped on the red carpet working it - and this is exactly what happened last night at the premiere of the new Batman film. It was all white at the Dark Knight as both Anne Hathaway and Marion Cotillard stepped out in white dresses. Anne chose wore a Grecian-style gown which showed off her décolletage for a sexy twist on the otherwise angelic ensemble while Marion opted for a opted for a show-stopping minidress by Christian Dior don'tcha know...

And it seems the white dress has been making quite the appearance in other A-lister's wardrobes too - meaning it's an item which should be featuring in yours. It's time to say goodbye to the little black dress and say hello to this new hot white trend.
